Setting the bar for creative events in the Okanagan! Sacred Revival was a night to remember, celebrating art in all forms.
On October 19th, the Sacred Revival event transformed the stunning Summerhill Pyramid Winery into a mystical haven of music, fire, and celebration. As the crisp autumn air settled over Kelowna, attendees gathered for a truly one-of-a-kind experience that blended ancient themes with awe-inspiring modern performances. Hosted by Kinshira Entertainment, this evening was nothing short of magical, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
Mystery, Fire, and Celebration
The heart of the evening was the highly anticipated 30-minute theatrical fire show, Sekhmet Rising. The audience was transported into the ancient world of mythology, where Sekhmet, the goddess of fire and power, was brought to life with jaw-dropping fire props, intricate choreography, and mesmerizing staging. This custom show, created by Kinshira, captivated the audience with a story that combined the power of fire with a stunning fire goddess rising. The fire illuminated the pyramid backdrop, creating a truly cinematic experience.
Adding a reflective and spiritual touch to the night was the burn ceremony. Guests were invited to write down messages—whether to release something, send a note to loved ones, or set an intention—and cast them into the fire pit. This element brought a deeply personal and sacred energy to the evening, connecting everyone through shared moments of intention and release.
Entertainment Around Every Corner
Inside the pyramid, and the dance hall, guests were delighted by pop-up performances from Kinshira’s roving characters, stilt walkers, a contortionist, an aerial silks artist, and a collaboration with Hibiscus Tribal Belly Dance. Each act brought an unexpected layer of excitement throughout the night. DJ Angie C kept the energy alive with a curated mix of beats that had everyone on their feet, dancing into the late hours.
Of course, the Summerhill Pyramid itself added to the mystique. Guests explored its sacred geometry, soaking in the unique atmosphere of one of Kelowna’s most iconic venues. Warm coats and blankets were encouraged for the outdoor segments, but the fire pit and outdoor bar kept spirits high despite the chilly weather.
Decor and Interactive Installations
Kinshira Entertainment didn’t just provide performances—they curated an immersive environment that elevated the event to another level. The decor was a perfect blend of inspiration from mythology stories, and mystical elements – golden accents, dramatic lighting, and intricate details made every corner feel special.
Interactive art installations were scattered throughout the venue, inviting guests to engage with the space in meaningful and playful ways. From photo-worthy moments to hidden surprises, each installation added depth to the experience. The DJ booth itself was a work of art, seamlessly blending into the theme while drawing guests to the dance floor.
