Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What kinds of artists are you looking for?
A: We are looking for artists of ALL KINDS! From circus acts like aerialists, hand-balancers, acro duos, dancers – to actors, musicians, builders, face painters, clowns, and visual artists! We have a wide range of contracts for all kinds of artists.
Q: What kinds of shows do you do?
A: We create entertainment for a wide range of events. From corporate ballroom galas to community and children’s events, and our self-produced contemporary circus shows. If you have a specialty (for example, you really like working with kids, engaging and speaking with audiences, or if your act works best in a more adult corporate setting), please indicate those notes in your application.
Q: Do you book artists outside of BC?
A: Our main hub is in interior British Columbia (specifically Kelowna, Okanagan), and although we are primarily looking to add to our roster within the Okanagan region, we’re still looking to build a roster list beyond BC!
Q: I submitted my resume to you on Instagram, do I still need to apply?
A: We will not be able to respond to applications that come in through social media. Due to the high number of messages we receive there, your application gets buried, and we might not remember you when we’re looking to book an artist! The best way to be on our official roster is via this contact form.
Q: When can I expect to hear back?
A: You may not hear from us right away, but we keep your application on file and will contact you when the perfect opportunity arises. We review each application carefully and will pair the right artists with the right contracts. Have you been working hard to develop your skills and have something new to share? Feel free to apply again with updated videos of your act.
Q: I am newer to performing, and don’t have a developed act yet – but I’m very interested in getting connected – should I still apply?
A: Yes, you can still send us your info, and we may have other opportunities to help you grow! We are passionate about developing new and young artists into working professional artists. Please list the skills you have in development and whether you have any interest in behind-the-scenes work while you grow (stage techs, fire techs, etc.). We would also love to connect you with our instructors and artist development programs.
